Witches, Wizards, & Muggles can unite for one night only on Sunday, October 9th as Brewster Street Ice House Downtown will be transformed into a magical world courtesy of Wizard Fest! Wizard Fest is an interactive wizard (Harry Potter) & fantasy themed party that celebrates all things magic, witches, wizards & cosplay!
Wizard Fest is an unforgettable pop-up party that is guaranteed to set the mood as we fittingly inch closer to Halloween.
The evening includes themed trivia, drink specials (i.e. Butterbeer), participating in the different Wizard Games, seeing some magicians, good music & dancing, plus a variety of cosplay! The best dressed will also have a chance to enter into the costume contest for cash and prizes!
Wizard Fest host Tony Azzaro, explains, “Wizard Fest started in 2016 incorporating all things magic into a huge multilayered event” and “There is something for everyone… whether you like fantasy or not it’s just one big party!”
Dress up as your favorite witch, wizard, or Mandrake and make your presence known at the costume contest! If someone can pull off a hippogriff, we will be seriously impressed. Either way, grab your wands, scarves, & golden snitches and because this is going to be fun!
Butterbeer is one of the most popular drinks in the wizarding world of Harry Potter and has been described as “A little bit like less-sickly butterscotch”. Think cream soda but with additional layers of flavor. Harry, Ron, & Hermione may have had to travel all the way from Hogwarts to Hogsmeade in secret tunnels through the Forbidden Forest to try their first Butterbeer but all you have to do is head to the S.E.A. District! (Fun fact: Hogsmeade is the only all-wizarding village in Britain and the SEA District is the Sports Entertainment & Arts District in Corpus Christi). There will be plenty of other wizard-themed cocktails in addition to Butterbeer all served on ice colder than He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named’s heart.
Wizard Fest will be bringing numerous games including Quidditch Pong, Giant Chess (Careful, Weasley), Jenga, & more! Defend your house with honor and compete against the best of the best! And while you’re hopping from game to game, don’t forget to “Find the Owl”… they say whoever snags the great owl will be gifted an unknown treasure… And no, you cannot use the Marauder’s Map – that would be cheating, of course.
For those who think they know all there is to know about Hogwarts, Dumbledore, & more… form a team & prove it in winner take all trivia! There will be two rounds of Harry Potter trivia with a final face off round featuring the top two teams.
General Admission tickets & VIP Packages to Wizard Fest are available.
